Darren Edwards

I have been playing games since a very early age, thanks to my Dad's encouragement. I've been an Xbox gamer since the very beginning, the Master Chief is to thank for that. I'm also a big Nintendo geek, and my other half is a PlayStation nut. I'll play pretty much anything in any genre (although FIFA and COD maybe pushing it).

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy Review

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy may well be an acquired taste, but it remains one of the most absorbing text based adventures out there.

Park Beyond Review

Park Beyond oozes character and is dripping with imagination, but the execution is sadly lacking in parts. That said, this fantastical world gives the creative types the tools to run wild.

Amnesia: The Bunker Review

Amnesia: The Bunker is ahead of the class, achieving what many of its peers aspire to but often fall short of. If you’re a horror fan, this is a must play.

Supraland: Six Inches Under Review

Although not a fully fledged sequel, Supraland: Six Inches Under is a technically impressive and wonderfully creative follow-up adventure for new and existing fans alike.

Protodroid DeLTA Review

Filthy Animals: Heist Simulator Review

Fundamentally flawed, Filthy Animals: Heist Simulator will struggle to hold your attention - it is frustrating rather than entertaining, no matter how many of you are playing at once.

Homestead Arcana Review

Undemanding and, at times, tedious gameplay takes some of the shine away from Homestead Arcana, even if there is an otherwise bewitching world with a heartfelt story to tell.

Panic Porcupine Review

Panic Porcupine is a run of the mill platformer which cannot escape the shadow of that which inspired it. A problem all of its own making.

Two Point Campus: School Spirits Review

Two Point Campus: School Spirits offers more of the high quality content we’ve come to expect from Two Point Campus.

Cannon Dancer – Osman Review

Why You Should Be (Cautiously) Excited for Crash Team Rumble

Crash Bandicoot has seen something of a resurrection over the past few years. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled signalled that the demand for nostalgia wasn’t limited to just the main series of games alone. Of course, when Crash Team Rumble was announced, comparisons to fan favourite Crash Bash were inevitable.

Two Point Campus: Space Academy Review

Two Point Campus: Space Academy adds plenty of fresh content which seamlessly expands an already brilliant game. It shows that the sky really is the limit for the strategy classic.

Resident Evil 4 Review

Small technicalities aside, Resident Evil 4 on Xbox Series X|S is a wonderfully recreated thrill ride from start to finish.

Eville Review

Eville is built on solid foundations, having a good stab at bringing the social deduction genre to the masses, but it lacks the components to achieve longevity in a crowded and competitive space.

Looking Back to 2003 with The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker differed in numerous ways to its predecessors. But what resulted was no less (perhaps even more) of an engrossing, deep and magical adventure which holds a special place in my heart.

Prison Tycoon: Under New Management Review

To borrow a quote from the excellent Peep Show, after a few hours I wanted to break out of the prison that Prison Tycoon: Under New Management had become for me.
