You should play Hi-Fi RUSH.

Playing GRIS for the first time, in its Xbox Series X|S format, has been an early 2023 highlight.

Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Moonspell feels amazing value for money, especially when you include the low asking price of the base game.

Pentiment is one of the finest games of the generation, one of the finest games on the Xbox... it's one of the finest games Obsidian has ever made.

Vampire Survivors feels amazing value. It is ridiculously cheap and has a gameplay hook that refuses to let go.

If you were a fan of Innocence then you are going to adore A Plague Tale: Requiem.

Persona 5 Royal is as close to the perfect RPG as I have played in a long time. Not since the heady days of Final Fantasy VII will a game grip you so fiercely, refusing to let go. It is deep, it is beautiful and it demands to be played. 

The highly praised Let’s Build a Zoo has set up shop on console after a successful release on PC. It’s also arrived with dino-filled downloadable content in the form of Dinosaur Island as an added bonus, but does the entire package live up to the hype? 

We’re still thinking about OPUS: Echo of Starsong - Full Bloom Edition. It’s a game that dares to be many things at once - a visual novel, a space exploration sim and a tomb-raiding adventure - and then, even more audaciously, manages to master them all.

You will adore Beacon Pines from start to finish, mostly as you get hooked by the impressive and unusual narrative.

What has been created in Cuphead - The Delicious Last Course is beautiful to behold, the right side (just) of frustratingly hard, and will keep you playing for a while, all as you spend time with Ms. Chalice and work with the new weapons.

It's the narrative that makes Omori something special. Subtlety is an important part of good storytelling because it makes you think and it makes you want to talk about it.

MotoGP 22 is a brilliant entry in the series that does everything you would expect it to and a bit more.

Apart from the summoning issue that is found when attempting to play with others, Elden Ring is a triumph. It looks great, it plays like a dream and it provides a world in which you can spend hours, just wandering about, picking fights.

Xbox owners are in for a treat with Rune Factory 4 Special. A masterwork of an RPG, this is a game you can easily spend real-life days playing away. A perfect fit for fans of Rune Factory and Animal Crossing, as well as an exciting action JRPG for fans of old-school Zelda, there is something in this game for everyone. While the port from 3DS to Xbox isn't exactly the most graceful, after a few hours, it's unlikely you will care.
